So my first impression of the game was, wow this is punishing, where do I start, the survivor was recommended to me because I.E it was more definitive to help me learn more of the game since playing monk was set to be a little more peaceful

The first thing I learned is that I'm not strong, there is no upgrade, and playing as Survivor made it clear, I'm no main character, just the lowest of them all, rummaging for scraps to live another day

Although I only had a few hours on the game I made a couple of rules from my dozens of deaths

Rule 1: Avoid large areas as they are prone to having a white lizard waiting for its prey

Rule 2: Run the opposite way when facing a lizard, as the Survivor you aren't a threat to anything unless you have a rock and a spear

Rule 3: Stay calm, as horrible the situation is you need to be calm to make a sound judgement

Rule 4: Be brave, if a lizard is blocking your path to a tunnel gets its attention and jump pass with a backflip, or just a simple pebble to disorient them

Idk why but I try to fight everything but it does not go well

Rule 5: Hoarding, pressing the hoard button for a long time allows you to eat a rock or a pearl to store for later use, Its really to carry an extra rock for protection

Rule 6: Be water, not fire. You don't start a fight, you wait for them to act so you can predict their moves. And seeing as the A.I in this game is sometimes stronk and sometimes dumb it's better to be the one who's being run at instead of rushing first

I swear I died a couple of times to finally learn that maybe I should just stand still and wait

I tried throwing spears when it walked closer, and it didn't end well

Pretty good actually, I went from industrial to shaded citadel at 4 hours and went back down to outskirts head to farm arrays and found myself at subterranean

Got three achievements before 10 hours
