I am in ||unfortunate development|| but when i get past the dead zone of ||rot|| my game crashes here. This is the 4th time something like this happens

heres a screen shot. Does this happen to other people?

Are you crashing when going through the portal? If so, it's definitely a bug, maybe try verifying file integrity but I doubt it's going to solve it.

Go to Steam > Library > Right click on Rain World > Properties > Local files tab > Verify file integrity

Try again to see if you crash at a portal, if you do, the only thing that might help, assuming it's not a bug is to make sure your save is backed up in steam cloud and reinstall the game.

okay I just crashed again. I will uninstall and reinstall it

OK actually, before uninstalling it. I verified the files again and this time it said '1 file failed'

I have not seen anybody consistently crash at a portal, so I assume it's a problem with your game installation. If it is a bug, it's not widespread and probably specific to your system.

Ugh, it happened again.. I guess ill just wait and do something else.

The only thing left to try is to disable RW remix, though its a very long shot and I don't see how it would cause problems with portals.

you can't, but you can keep climbing up the throne, there's a big hole in the center of the room, at the very top, the room is dark so it's hard to see

I get it, I played through this with the sun hitting my screen half the time and some things were just impossible to see with the naked eye
