Continuing this. So I accidentally spoiled myself on the existence of the Prince because before I played Watcher (and keep in mind this was on the day it released), I was updating my Vending Machines mod, and I accidentally glimpsed in the code something that said DLLPrince (although that isn't actually something in the code so I have no fucking clue where the DLL part of it came from). When I actually played it, I came across the sentient rot rooms blocking me from going into other regions, and then eventually I found Spinning Top. And by the second encounter in the prologue I thought that Spinning Top was the "rot prince" I found in the code because the rot was spreading. Later I learned I was completely fucking wrong but it's a funny out of context moment to look back on nonetheless

Also I assumed Spinning Top was evil for like the first half of the campaign

One thing that happened which really sold me on the ending a month or so ago, i had seen and donwloaded a mod where the exact number of copies of you in the ending exists when you ascend And some kind soul in there said that this would be very useful for their watcher run where they had died 300+ times

@prisma linden Here's a fun fact from my playthrough, i had a friend of mine warn me about the weaver when i did that first one, not like explicitly warn, just tell me that i should go bother with the Rot stuff instead first

This did make me suspicious that the Weaver was gonna hurt the prince (never did), but it also spared me from raging and possibly getting angry at you for not warning me about this

I am a lorer by heart, so this played into it but... idk

Maybe. I do remember the tail not having collission with the slugcat's body, as I tried to do the dead green lizard catapult move tech a few times.

But I can't say whether or not the same applies to spears.

OP said they sheltered in Shattered, but the echo pings don't show, oddly enough.

What could be happening?

The new update and patches didn't break the echo ping, did it?

I directed them to shelter again in Shattered, see if that triggers the echo ping.

But if it fails, should we tell them about the echo ping explicitly and that they should verify the files?

They met about 4 echoes so far, that they remember.

If that's true, then the echo ping is currently not active.
