#Chimney Canopy invisible platform

More meant to be an ambient part of the room
Many rooms have invisible walls and platforms but this one is probably more noticeable
Note: Those rooms are almost all outdoor, the indoor ones are outside the map
Hope this answers your question of whether this is a bug
They could've made it a voidfall tbh instead of an invisible platform
if it is intended I still feel like it ruins the immersion of the game
the illusion that the map is huge and all
I mean it is but

It's not intended, as it is not intended for you to be there
Are you a part of the development team?
No, but I don't need to be. They put that there most likely because the player is not expected to go there
You can see that a LOT in FA
Most rooms in FA have some invisible boundary
I could name you a few more examples in which a player wouldn't be incorrect to think there's a path in certain locations
If the player is not supposed to go there in this instance they could have made the pipe non spearable
I know I'm making a big deal, but still it does ruin the immersion for me and thought it was an oversight by the devs
Take this room for example, if a player is riding a deer, and the deer tries to go off screen (on the right side) they cannot, as there is a boundary preventing Slugcat to leave the room
Oops sorry I accidentally delete the message I thought this was somewhere else
This is why you dont send a bug support thread in the playthrough chat and not expect me to act like its spoilers

MY BAD IGNA
im confused did I do something wrong
You didn't do anything wrong
Nah
oh okay
sends every bug report forum in first playthrough guiding and coordination or whatever it was called
guiding & coordination
I didn't even send it to the coord thread
Anyway off topic
So Zipper, that spot in the room is unintended for the player to reach, and they didn't think any player would attempt to go there, thus putting an invisible wall there to help with processing
Anyways yeah this isnt a bug
Every room that doesnt have a wall on the edge just extends whatever geometry there is infinitely
Yeah, sure
everyone here

Let's take this to my thread so we don't clog up this person's forum
(or somewhere else than here)
become first playthrough helper+
Isn't there a room on the right connected to this room? So why can't a rain deer take you to the other room? I may be thinking of a different room, though
The room I screenshotted takes you down near the SB gate, and they do that so that A) It's not hard on processing and B) there's pipes for a reason
