and he's never gonna get better if he gets self conscious about playing the game bc you get mad every time he dies (idk if you get mad but it seems like it)

I don't get mad when I die I only get frustrated when it's my brother

Because I have to drag his dead body to a shelter

And half the time his deaths are the ones that make his body disappear

So I just restart over and over

Just to make it to one shelter

honestly, co-op is not the way to learn this game

He has the option to play solo but he only really plays rain world to play with me

Which makes me feel a bit special

ive tried teaching it to ppl b4, but i always end up waiting at the finish line for them while they struggle to do a pounce jump, its not just your brother, its anyone who's played the game for more than 4 hours vs someone who's never played the game

then yeah just lag behind him or have him carry you

We started with the same level of experience I just ended up getting ahead with monk

My brother isn't too bad like he knows basic movement

point is, let him die 1000 times before you guys make it to the next shelter

It's just that he makes stupid mistakes

And it takes him a while to learn

So to speed it up a bit I just show him what not to do

And he gets the point from there

well people tend to learn faster from their own mistakes they find out on their own

like, if i tell you, dont eat that, you'll die. ur gonna wanna eat it to see if it does anyways, and probably proceed to semi ignore that information and eventually forget it, leading you to eat it accidentally, or, you find out that it kills you when you're trying to make it to the next cycle, thats frustrating, never doing that again

I just show him by doing the mistake myself to show why not to do it and then I let him learn from there on his own
