to answer your question if you enable rain world remix and go to whatever the bottom tab is called there's an option that lets you change the amount of cycles hunter starts with
not really sure how to answer "would i be losing a relevant part of the experience"

If I enable a mod that removes the cycle limit on hunter, would I be losing a relevant part of the experience? I'm afraid I will take my time a little bit too much and end up soft-locked due to negative cycles

(I mostly say this because, like, once you've seen all the main new things in the Hunter's campaign you're basically done with the game.)

If you plan to play MSC, though, maybe hold off on using cheats and go try the MSC campaigns. By the time you finish those you'll be prepared for this one

I second this, I did this and it made this campaign a lot easier. Also turning off cycles I feel would remove some of the intended experience. It is a rainy world after all.
