``Loving the game! I'm really curious about some stuff only finishing the game / doing some heavy experimentation / reading the wiki would answer, so here I am, instead!

I'm currently doing my second-ish play-through: on my first one I ended up going straight to 5p through the wall (s o h a r d) got to 5p and stopped there. Now, I picked the game up again and sorta followed the yellow observers up to Looks To The Moon and... I can't understand her, as I haven't got the mark. Is it crucial to understand Looks To The Moon or will the yellow obs. just guide me to the next part? (which I assume is 5p, but coming from a different path, I ended up looking at the interactive map to navigate the shaded citadel).

Still on the topic of the cute blue thing:
I got spoiled that someone does something (teach slugcat some lore?) when presented with colored marbles. carried a golden one all the way to 5p and she just sent me on her way, is that someone Looks To The Moon? also, Is the benefit lore, or is it something else?
Now, general questions:
How tf do i ~~trade? ~~ give stuff to the scavs? do I toss my things at them? (works well for marbles, less so for spears)

Does every animal have a reputation system or just the scavs? Yes or No works for this question. I'm sure that yellow lizards do, I killed one of them and then all of them started hunting me (fun). Now I wonder if there's consequence to murderhoboing the entire lizard population (other than dragon slayer passage)

When a lizard has more of those weird scaly things on their backs does it mean they have licking power? I swear I saw a pink one with scales that could lick me, while the ones in the outskirts couldn't, I might just be crazy. On the other hand the camouflage ones don't have the scaly things and can lick me from really far... idk.
