I've bought rain world a few months ago and because i cannot play other games its the only thing i can play right now and i'm honestly pretty excited for it, i'm currently just making it to the shaded citadel so people who are not there yet probably dont want to read this.

Anything found outside Outskirts is a spoiler. This game is non-linear, there is a non-zero chance someone can miss a region, or a creature, or some item, or they just want to play completely blind.

Players knowing something exists can give them a false sense of progression, and they'll try to go for something thinking that's how they progress the game, and they'll skip a valuable part of learning how to survive and gain knowledge to make passing each area easier.
Another thing it can do is make them beeline for something to progression, only to get stuck in a really hard area of the game that they can't get past because they skipped learning how to deal with certain aspects of the game before getting there, and they can quit.
