yeah this area is pretty rough. new player torture chamber. as a tip for swimming (spoiled if you want to discover it yourself but its kind of annoying to figure out) || pressing jump to swim faster and boost in water makes you run out of air significantly faster. do not boost except when you have to to dodge predators or make the final push for air ||

you can also swim faster by following the motions of the slug cats tail. almost moving up and down in water if that makes sence?

if i am thinking of the right room, im pretty sure it alao has a lot of small hard to see air pockets on the celing you can crawl in. you are in drainage system correct?

there are no alternate paths sadly to go where the game is trying to take you besides going clear back to outskirts. in fact the next gate || is at the very end of the tunnel you are describing 😭 ||
