okay it's pretty late for beads (and an acorn) now and no one's started yet so I'm gonna
engineer's got a great start going. Moon building a new can-of-sorts for moon is such a fun idea, we see a lot of pebbles-helping-moon fics but I don't think I've ever seen something quite like that.
Building a can is incredibly ambitious... and pebbies can't do it alone. So, his purposed scugs...
Beads' got a thing for biology and grounding her explanations with real-feeling explanations inspired by our own weird and wacky creatures and I love that sooooo much. She's clearly put a lot of thought into her scugs, and I'm really really excited to see them at work!!
And pebbles 
he's gonna go full dad-mode, i'm sure. The scene where one of the babies almost didnt make it... heartbreaking
Her take on pebbles is really interesting. He feels just a bit softer than he usually does, in these things, and his concern for his scugs is so genuine (though I'm sure he would deny it)
Enough is enough, and he's going to save Moon.
I'm really looking forward to how this thing progresses Very solid foundation so far
I also wanna compliment the descriptive writing, especially in the first chapter describing Moon's can. It had ~atmosphere~
and Tree's reading was wonderful

||Ever since the very first chapter I've been impressed by Beads' very rich writing style, from the scene descriptions to FIve Pebbles' planning monologues, but holy the story-within-story/the diary story was so good! the contrast between the 'normal' narrative and the diary story was very distinct yet that worked so well.||
||I also appreciate the detailed development of the pups' development and births, it all happened in a relatively short period yet the nervous energy from Pebbles made it felt everything was taking forever haha.||
||Im gonna read the rest on my own ,very good story!!||
Tree's reading was great as well, although for me, a non-native english user, that felt a bit too fast for me
but the reading was clear that i had no problem following along!

Took a minute, put together my thoughts on ACTS.
One, it's great. The character work, descriptions, dialouge, all very very good.
Two, and this is something I noticed as I read through and was curious if it was on purpose or not, but there is a very strong elemental motif to the whole fic. In particular, it seems focused on water and stone- water, because of the inherent connection the two leads have to the ocean and the creatures within it, is mentioned all the time, but stone also appears surprisingly often, usually in what I would consider key locations in the fic (more often with crown themself)- Crown's stony beach, Crown's admin's voice being "rolling rocks under water", Onyx's name and "boulderlike" appearance, "They'll pull you across the stones, fractals!"... it comes up often enough to make me wonder.
The two characters, are, in some ways, like stone and water- one flows too much and should learn to hold himself still against outside forces, the other has hardened and will not change when the opportunity to gain from changing arises. A neat bit of symbolism, there!
Three, the way the ancients are depicted, in that it's very easy to look at the surface and say "all the admins are scumbags, Onyx is the only good one" but there's quite a bit more to them then just that. Crown's admin is bitter and cruel, and she's probably an awful person, but she also is coming from a deprived background (as all of crown's staff are), and she's basically been made queen of shit mountain (no offense to crown), which would leave anyone a bit sore. Fractal's admin is manipulative, but they make good points and are working towards what they believe is best. Trellis' admin seems genuinely guilty and really does want to help Trellis, she just can't (and is a bit stiff). The little bits we get of Strato's admin, he seems pretty decent, if awfully pushy. In short, I like that the "villains" are shown as what the ancients are in my eyes: people who are flawed, just like us.
