One really cool thing about this game that I have noticed is that if you die over and over again, it makes it very hard to find food because not enough time has passed for the berries to respawn

So when I get into Sky Islands and die, only one cycle has passed, so nothing has regrown yet. And half the time the batflies don't feel like showing up. So I have to wander around Chimney looking for food until I inevitably die because there's lizards and flying bird things everywhere

(it didn't used to do that but people softlocked themselves in some areas in early versions)

Hint 1: ||When thrown at a wall, spears can either always stick, sometimes stick, or never stick, based on the distance from the place you threw it at.||
Hint 2: ||Try throwing spears a few more times after jumping from the pole, so you are hugging the wall.||
Hint 3:||If it doesn't give enough height, get another spear.||

Thats also the case in some places yeah. Though the only places I can think of that contain those walls are gates, shelters while opening/closing, and some dead end walls

They will make a different sound and sparks when speared

Fun Fact! The game doesn't actually have a specific rule to prevent you from spearing gate doors; the developers just placed an anti-spear object in every gate in the game. Guess how many map-expansion mods forget to do this and get technically bugged gates?
