#First playthrough enable or disable downpour dlc?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
sounds good i think
but why worse?
or it hard to explain without spoilers?
It makes it hard to tell whats vanilla and whats MSC
There were a couple reasons but I cant remember them rn xd hate my brain
It just kinda does things that arent good for a first playthrough
okay i think i will enable qol and make a second playthrough with downpour enabled
and yeah brains are useless crap
thx
do i need somehow close this thread?
I can close it if you want me too
yeah that would be great! thx for help
MSC's additions of certain creatures and such can be kinda.. a lot for new players?
it adds some mechanics that can be a bit unforgiving for a first playthrough as well, and overall just complicates the experience
it's not explicitly worse, but definitely isn't better
okay! thanks to you too!
If I download Downpour (on Switch), can I simply disable all of it for my first playthrough? Or is that only possible, by just not buying/downloading it?

To answer your question though I'm pretty sure the Remix menu functions in much the same way on Switch? You can buy Downpour (and someday Watcher) and toggle them on or off at your convenience.
@glacial beacon , I apologise. I'm new to this closed forum-chat crossover thing. Will do so next time. Thank you for the answer.
if it makes it worse how can it be negligible?
the things that msc adds to vanilla campaigns will basically never be stumbled upon on a first playthrough!! that's why
any new creatures and new regions will be extremely subtle and you won't ever encounter them unless you look really hard for them :)
i can't say it's negligible when every vanilla region is changed in some way
I don't think this is entirely true, l know at least one msc region that is easily entered as a blind player
Also pretty funny revival of a seven month old conversation
Whuh
