scavs can be unpredictable in combat so for them maybe learning how to stab things below you using a backflip or throwing a spear during a slide to give it a bit of a downwards velocity but the second thing is less useful (I actually never successfully used it)

for oranges you have to have a lot of spacial awareness, think where you could go to not get cornered
one stab should be enough to weaken one significantly, that will make not getting cornered easier

I like baiting things onto a pole and then stab them while falling off

Back on my Monk playthrough, 30 cycles ago, I was going to FP, I was at the Wall. My sister walked in and saw a random white lizard that was scared of me, and (the lizard, not my sis) allowed me to go past uninterrupted. Since then she really wants me to tame it. If you want to know which one specifically its the one in the room UW_A02 as Monk. She called it Ghost. So, I have two questions regarding that matter. First of all, since I've ascended already, I really want to keep the nice Monk ascension picture on the menu screen of the campaigns, will that go away when I click continue or will it stay? And second, how do I tame that specific lizard? It's not like there's anything that it eats around there, I WILL NOT go into the Underhang, and the den... well I could tame it with the den nearby but that will be tricky and maintaining that tameness will be hard too. Ideally I would get it out of the Exterior entirely, to someplace where food is easy to get, but as far as I've learnt with Sky, my blue lizard, no lizard can get past that one jump separating the main part of Chimney Canopy and the karma gate to the Wall.

with taming there are multiple ways to befriend a lizard
feeding them is the easiest and fastest option

alright, just need to hunt down a grapple worm from the Leg, get a spear, somehow get past the orange lizards without losing the spear and grapple worm, find the white lizard, make sure it sees me throwing the grapple worm, then lead it to the nearby den, sleep with it, then get past the orange lizards again with Ghost and not get Ghost killed in the process, traverse the entire Leg (not getting Ghost killed of course), go to Shaded Citadel, get to the kinda-lit-up part of Shaded Citadel, then live there. Seems easy enough.
