Miles’ painful realization that rain world is not easy

I’m actually in the middle of my play through right now, but I wanna share some “fun” moments throughout my play through that almost made me cry

Pain #1: these blue bugs which I had no idea what to do with either (one kept dodging me and I only found out later you could eat the other one)

Pain #2: THIS. PLANT.

Blessing #1: also this plant because I camped here for too many cycles having little to no idea what i was doing

Neither a blessing or a pain but this lizards bringing me around and eating me

I didn’t know I was able to go through these ,,,,,

Pain #3: this freaky guy (amazing music but oh my god spooky)

After spending way to long trying to find her I accidentally ended up eating part of what I was quickly informed right after was her brain and had to restart

If you didn’t sleep after eating it you can die to reset the cycle

I just left the game and came back lmao I think if I had to restart the entire game from that point my switch would be in between the wall

Pain #4: The monster kelp leading up to this wall and very little amount of spears I found leading up to the wall

Pain #5: MEMORY CRYPTS.

(Last part for now bc this is where stopped playing) I finally made it after about 5 hours being stuck on it

||I’ve been trying to jump to get the attention of the blue guys and then swing down to the lower area and it’s been working maybe 2/3rd of the time and the other 1/3rd I miss my swing and fall into my own turmoil ||

If anyone has been wondering how I’ve been doing: I’ve been stuck at the same spot for a while now, I’m trying not to play for too long because i tend to rage so it’s been weeks . I really wanna get past tonight but I guess we’ll see

this mightve been the hardest part of the game for me i was stuck on it for literal weeks

if someone says "for now" i think i might sob

i had no idea there was a shelter right after one of the areas i kept going past, thinking there was no shelter

and i spent weeks on a doomed mission

and when i realized that there was a shelter, it took me over an hour to actually get back there because of hasty mistakes due to me progressively more frustrated and determined

but it has been done finally

the fact that i had to do the same part over and over again, not realizing that it was physically impossible within the time constraints and that there was a shelter right next to me has done irreparable damage to my psyche, and my mental well being

this has been me for the past month over this game

Don't worry, it happens to everyone at some point.

One of the difficult things about Rain World is that it's often hard to tell when you're missing something important. Always assume you are, just in case.

Does anyone happen to know how to get to 5 pebbles from the wall? I don’t mind spoilers atp im at my wits end and this place is a maze 😭

A map or video would esp help, I’m more interested in the story more than figuring out how to navigate everything so I am struggling at that part pretty hard

I have officially locked in and started using a pro controller because using joy cons for this game is like playing with 1 finger

It’s helped more than I’d like to give it credit for
