there are air pockets in the tunnels
its still tricky to get through them but its not impossible

You can also go back and look for different paths, the game is nonlinear

There's a trick to swimming efficiently.
It's hard to explain - ||you can sorta use your tail to swim if you wiggle a bit||.

Experiment with stuff you find, try going different ways, explore other spots you havent been to

watch the signals they give you too
scavengers are fairly expressive and you can tell what they are going to do usually
but what each reaction means is something for you to discover :)

I'm considering using my teleport (I got the "hunter" achievement thingy back in drainage system) that I've had for a while to go to looks to the moon again, because I want to see if the person there responds
maybe next time I cross the karma gate I'll use my map to see how its connected to the rest of outskirts so I can get back
