is the karma gate designed in a way that the lower requirement means its a hard area to be in?

like say currently between chimney and skyisland is

i traded with a bomb throwing scav (it showed a bit of hostility) and the threat music visual pulse dot just slowly fades away LOL

also got a iggy eye that the scav break

if i trade that and survive i will get chieftain next :v

no you are not, once i figure out the reason its 3 layers because the map is 3d world flatten into slices and the rooom of some blocks r even 1:1 for size its very cool

also the map being what slugcat memorize also bring in the immersion

like ur explanation on how if u separate visit 2 location on the same map it make sense slgucat wont make the connection too

a big mall has entrance A B C that leads to respective area A B C, even if they do connect in the middle but if i only ever go from entrance A to visit area A and only from entrace B to visit area B but i never go thru the connection area inbetween them they r likely just disconnected places to me too despite being literally in the same mall

The map fills out slowly because it's your character thinking "oh yeah that goes there ... and then that goes there ..."

i think he jsut misunderstands because someone explain the "its an interpretion of 3d plane into 2d hence the pipe looks weird, its flattened to show u connection and spread out so they fit" the guy also agree lol

as for karma gate obviously its like a requirement u r familiar enough and able to survive long enough to reach this gate with the required karma to proceed i guess

And the fact that it takes so much time to use the map means you can't completely rely on it, which is also good for immersion.

You have to put in at least a little bit of the effort your character is to memorize the place, since you can't afford to check your map constantly.

It just doesnt work with rainworld
Rainworld is on a layer above the overlay

Any poleplants that does not move around its stalk can be passed by. Even if it is flashing leaves, as long as the stalk is like a straight line, it is safe to walk past it
