left most is the only way i can go if i go upwards, the middle and right pipe lead to underwater that i probably will drown

I would still recommend trying it out for a little bit to see if you like it, and if not, nothing much was lost

Everyone is going to enjoy the game differently, and if that means using maps, there's nothing wrong with it. I would just encourage trying without them, since it minimizes exploration and worsens a really good and well done part of the game

At least for me, when I'm using a map it means I pay less attention to the environment

Like of you hold left for a while and then switch to holding right

When you switch you get a small speed boost

You can only backflip if you would get that boost when turning

4. Run to the gate
5. Theres a shelter at the other side of the first room of the leg, but BEWARE as there is a pit between and you can fall to your death, loss ur progress and go back to shaded citadel (happened to me twice)

basically, jump twice in midair and it'll shoot out it's tongue, grappling the nearest surface above you, if you hold a directional input i think the tongue also tries to follow that direction as well
