i know Rain World is a SUPER hard game just like so many on the internet but i’ve never played those games so it’s very new to me. i literally have 17+ hours playing Rain World in just two weeks so i have been grinding a lot and i do enjoy it a ton, but heck it gets me screaming. like the amount of times a vulture has suddenly loomed over me and killed me unexpectedly whilst attempting to get to Shoreline is unimaginable.
right now i’ve just met Moon in Shoreline (and yes, i did eat one of her enlightenments hehe) and i’m making my way back to the next gate thingy soon, but it’s lowkey super hard. plus i’ve been playing as Monk! the so called ‘easy’ mode, yet i’m struggling so much. and there’s no vultures from what i’ve seen in Shoreline but it’s time that’s the problem. i’ve been thinking about getting the DLC, Rain World: Downpour and using remix to unlock all campaigns to play as Rivulet; breath underwater AND just play as an overall great Slugcat. though reason i’m not is because i honestly don’t know if it’s worth it. i’m struggling a ton as is so i do need some tips for getting across the map.
ima explain some of my struggles so if you’re reading this BY ALL MEANS HELP ME 😭🙏
it’s been super hard for me to get across the map without getting eaten or killed- and i have learned most, if not all of the controls. i also suck at fighting, although i do feel like i’m getting better. im starting to feel like this game isn’t the cute little innocent survival game i thought i was walking into when i bought it- but i’m all for it, don’t you worry. i still need to learn how to leap off polls, backflip into a jump, roll without falling / jumping from a great height, and zooming across the ground like all those speed runners do. plus just some basic tips and tricks if you can, like HOW THE HECK DO I BRING CREATURES OR TOOLS INTO SANDBOX MODE?? also any thoughts on the DLC or if i should get it? idkkk- pls help i’m so lost at this point.

it also normally requires you to beat survivor or monk before you can play any of the dlc slugcats
does guide you every so often
