Always get the rock, but somehow always miss the spear after that, and he is always in places where i can't shoot him too, always in a weird angle, and i'm having trouble escaping him throught the tunnels
I'm not sure how to describe these fight, but majority of the time he appear when i have two food in my hands and he always block the acces to my spear
all i want is to be able to eat then leave with at least one spear, but the one i leave behind for getting this food is impossible to reach after that. IT's always in a place where i have no space to move

I’d say try knocking things out with a rock more, there are a lot of death pits so it’s quite easy to keep throwing rocks at something until it falls off
Not great for getting food but lowering the number of enemies will make it easier to survive
