There are always other paths you can take if one is too hard, or different approach to certain problems.
Some Remix options like Threat Visual Pulse and Slug Senses can help with noticing offscreen threats, which should help with planning around obstacles.

You could go back and exit through the other pipe but that’s risky

Pebbles is not in a very good mood so you coming back might make him bit upset

Underhang is the quickest path to her

Since you figured out how to use remix you could turn on key items on passage, get into a shelter and passage out with the pearl
That’s an easy way to get unstuck
