Different people enjoy the game in different ways. Some people want to discover everything for themselves, but others feel too disoriented with the vast openness and lack of concrete guidance that the game offers. This is not a Ubisoft game with 40 markers and an always on-screen minimap.
Some people appreciate more direct solutions to their conundrums, but it's a case by case scenario. Maybe next time someone asks about the difficulty they're experiencing, rather than jumping in and offering the help you think is best, you could simply ask them what kind of help they would like to get.

On top of that, I believe white lizards in The Leg have a 'Mean' variable. Makes them more aggressive and bitey, I think?

There are a lot of precycle tags around the map, some of which apply to lizards. There is also Ignorecycle tags on some places immune to rain (e.g. SS, LC (the former of which has no lizards))

Maybe mine is a bit of a hot take, this is only my personal opinion.

But if the game gives you access to knowledge on its own terms, I personally wouldn't consider it a spoiler. It's the pacing the developpers have decided to give to their game and the DLCs they offered.

It doesn't make much sense to me throwing my hands in the air because the main menu art "spoils" a creature that belongs to the DLC, for example, or that it talks about a specific mechanic or item in a given challenge that you had a whole campaign to discover before said challenge was unlocked.

Sure, maybe the pacing could be better and these things could be better revealed, but I doubt it ruins all that much if you encounter a specific niche mechanic during a challenge compared to a campaign.

Again, that's just me.
