iterators were made for helping other creatures ascend and finding the solution to the great problem (mass ascension of the bugs, microbes, creatures, wtv), not for the benefactors/ancients that have already been long gone. iterators are a gift to the rest of the world from the benefactors to help them be free from the cycles

the echo saying they placed their faith into a random god's hands (iterators) is extremely contradictory to what iterators were made to do by benefactors in the first place

You don't know that and you can't really know that. Different people struggle with different regions of the game. Even if the player struggles with it, what if they don't mind it? Slowly learning about the game, even if it means being stuck in one region, is totally fine. Not everyone rushes to complete the objective and be done with the game as fast possible without taking the necessary time to get the experience and knowledge.
I can't know that either, but what i do know is that discouraging players from doing these things is wrong and this is what you do even if that wasn't your outright intention. It's even worse in the context of hunter's campaign because you're naturally guided towards sky Islands.
Also, please stop reacting like that. We're just discussing things, we aren't insulting you or anything. If you don't want to talk, you can just not respond to what we say

i.e. if it's on land, it can't see creatures in water, and if it's in water, it can't see creatures in land

when floating on water, one chunk is in water and the other is above water

overall, each tick a random tentacle chunk is chosen as the vision point and a random creature in the room is chosen, and if the tentacle chunk sees any body chunk of that random creature, the creature gets seen

From what l can decipher from that though it should surely see the scug in a matter of a few ticks. And it doesn't

for me monster kelp are plume worms, and many worms have eyes, or at least some sensitive organs to detect light/vibrations

same with pole plant which are another species of plume worm for me

especially when i see they are both connected to the same lineage

I don't mind. It makes sense that he says that in the context of survivor's campaign as you get k10 with the mark. The problem is that it's not the case with hunter and dp campaigns

well, in surv/monk, pebbles giving you mark also gives you free k10 as well so

i would only do so in blind hunter runs

since that's realistically tho only scug where ascension is required but hard to accomplish
