I think there are a few minor things that should get tweaked with the first playthrough auto response, as it is now I think it's a bit harsh.
From my experience, having a bot place a large text wall in chat as a new person to the server can feel somewhat frustrating. And I feel there are some important things not mentioned:
The auto response only mentions the first playthrough channels as spoiler free areas, but I think it's equally as important to mention how the helpers are experienced with guiding people on their first playthroughs
(and a lot of people think they don't care about spoilers, and decide to stay in the spoiler channels because of that)
I know all the rest of the information is important to help keep the channels organized, so while it might be hard to not make it a super long text wall, at least making sure a human mentions the channels exist before posting the auto response could help make it feel less harsh.

the oneshot server for example uses them sparingly (the only one i know of details embed perms which is a good usage imo; it takes longer to explain embed perms vs what a certain channel category is for)

anyway idk it’s almost 3 am and my brain isn’t functioning properly at the moment

but basically i think autoresponses are better suited for things that take a while to explain as opposed to something like first playthroughs

maybe it’s just that i know most of it by heart due to how much time i spend here but

Pebbles shouldn't kill Spearmaster instantaneously upon entering to deliver the pearl, last time I checked. He kills you on your second visit, not the first.

I think they said Spearmaster got killed when the pearl was pulled out of SM's body.

If it's true they lingered then it is normal that they got killed.
But if SM got killed during the extraction process immediately, I'd call that a bug.

As far as I know, that's not really meant to happen.

... Yeah, that is indeed a thing. The birds discovered that prey comes out of their hiding spots and dens in a panic whenever there's a forest fire. So they learned to snatch burning sticks from campfires and similar things, flying towards a forestal area and just drop it to watch the fire spread and the creatures making a run for it, where they will subsequently get found and caught by the bird.

It has been all ascension endings, game crashed when I first beat the game too

I've only actually ascended Surv and Hunter (and hunter a couple times), and have been just restarting the console before endings and it works fine

It likely has something to do with sleep mode, as it is notorious for causing issues

I remember something about the ascension ending being buggy for more than one player due to the way the game tracks the light's positioning dependent on the player's location, and when there's more than one, the system kinda gets messed up.

If we combine that with the already buggy experience of Rain Meadow, I can imagine a lot of problems emerging.

I think one of the most important things to remember is to try and gauge how much help an individual needs, as different people approach the game in different ways and process things differently. Something else to also keep in mind however, is that it's always better to try and reveal too little rather than too much, since you can reveal too little, and then gradually more until it's enough. Giving away too much is a point of no return, in comparison!

and it's hard to tell when someone wants a direct answer or just is scared to experiment

Popcorn seed + rock = batfly, according to the wiki's crafting table table.

But if the bubble fruit was instead actually popped, then they would both get eaten as a meal.
