ITERATOR LOGS - "SALVATIONS EDGE"

Cycle 71725.
ARCHIVED CONVERSATION
A: Your name?
SE: Iterator 926, Salvations edge.
A: That helps explain this next question. What are you?
SE: I am an Iterator as previously mentioned, a machine of monumental size and power capable of intelligence far beyond any other sentient being.
A: Correct. Now, what were you designed to do?
SE: I was designed to research into void fluid and it's many properties, and discover uses for it.
A: Correct. Before we end, do you have any questions?
SE: Not at all.
A: Good. This concludes our log.
LOG ENDED.

Cycle 71750.
ARCHIVED CONVERSATION.
A: Iterator 926, are you aware of your specialized design?
SE: Correct. I have been looking into the exact details before you came for a talk.
A: Mmh, an issue I should talk about later, but not now. Could you tell me what details you have discovered?
SE: I was created to operate without requirements of administrative privileges on a greater amount of tasks.
A: Yes, you were made with the task of operating on void fluid, yes?
SE: Correct.
A: Due to this, you have been equipped with more advanced tools and repair mechanisms in case of an issue and may perform repairs on your own.
SE: Where is my control over this machinery, then?
A: They are.. in the works. Other iterators are working on making it as we speak, within a few thousand cycles, you should be able to use them and perform your designed task.
SE: I see.
A: I see no reason to stay any longer.
SE: Very well.
LOG ENDED.

Cycle 72824
SE: Over the past few hundred cycles, I have been creating.. Upgrades, My creators did well to limit my scale, and have not allowed me to build out further. However, I am permitted to perform recreation of vital parts, which means I can add more neurons to my can. I have far improved on the design of them, but it is far too expensive. I will be working on a cheaper option as soon as possible.
LOG ENDED.

Archived conversation - FA, TSAG, SE

SE: So, what have you all been up to?
FA: Oh, not much. Experimenting on those worms the drones found in the void sea.
TSAG: Those? I wouldn't bother, by their biological scans they are unimportant.
FA: But, what if they are the key to ascension? In, some way or form they might!
TSAG: IF they were important, they would have SHOWN it by now.
SE: There is no need to argue, you two.
TSAG: I was merely instructing Aurora, as their senior, that their attempts are futile.
SE: I find it rude, they are our equal, yes?
FA: At least Salvation knows.
TSAG: ..Fine, experiment with your little worms.

PRIVATE CONVERSATION
SE, FA
CYCLE 30075
SE: Aurora, shouldn't we report Sky's behavior to the administrators?
FA: ..But.. they're our senior, we cant just do that!
SE: Of course we can, we are permitted to do so on any terms.
FA: ..Right, but it's disrespectful!
SE: They disrespected you, didn't he?
FA: He.. did.
SE: So, report him to the administrators and use the archived conversation as proof.
FA: Will do.

SE: I have created a far cheaper, smaller, and easily produced variation of the neuronfly. I will begin manufacturing them and slowly replacing the current neurons with them. I predict I will be able to double my processing power and be complete by the time I get my repair modules.

ARCHIVED CONVERSTION
CYCLE 30729

A: Salvation's Edge, your processing power has bolstered since last scan.
SE: Correct. I thought I could improve on your design of neuronflies majorly, and it was extremely simple.
A: Well, good. It will be useful for all of your research. May you send over a blueprint copy for us to integrate into later Iterators?
SE: You may, I will send it over in a few cycles.
A: Good.

CYCLE 31064

SE: Research has begun on void fluid and is going smoothly. Testing had began 74 cycles ago. I have discovered a metal that appears resistant to the fluid's affects, but not much else. I must continue dumping things into this vat of void fluid to find more. More information on the metal, it is relatively common. It is in fact, 20% of what my structure is made from, bismuth. It is relatively fragile, however oddly resistant against void fluid. Testing will continue in a separate chamber with the material.

you don't actually capitalize void fluid. It's a substance, so you wouldn't capitalize it anymore than you would 'salt' or 'alcohol'.

I guess depends on how you percieve it i guess, I dunno

#

i like this idea of having an iterator that upgrades themselve slowly without becoming distant frontier

silk marsh
#

will figure it out later

#

im used to using the commas as a pause in a sentance

#

ALSO bismuth functions alot differently in this canon so it doenst just shatter

#

its more of a cool looking metal than a gemstone

im going through and fixing it right now
