Is the entire brush window missing? If so, have you checked Settings > Dockers?
Since that one was an animatic, I used Krita for the whole thing. For frame-by-frame, I sketch in Opentoonz (a lil jank, crashes a lot, but free), then import that into Krita to use my own brushes.
With audio and video editing, there's a little more wiggle room. I don't have much to recommend here because I use Wondershare Filmora - I bought it when it was way cheaper and before the whole ai shill... understand what a can of worms that is, but biggest strength remains its offer of a perpetual, one-time purchase license.

And these are all suggestions of course. If you need more Krita help, like adding animation frames, activating onionskin, etc, you can always ping me here or dm! :3
