Saw a post under on of the modding channels saying that embeds were being disabled temporarily. Maybe it was more than just that?

Undeterred by your weak blows, the green lizard turns around and aims a bite at you. You instinctively try to sidestep it, but you're only partially successful. You don't end up in the lizard's mouth- but it slams its jaws down on your tail instead. Ouch.

The rain, worse in this rainy season than in any previous season you have lived through, washed your family from their home, and then washed you from them, leaving you drenched, beleaguered, and alone. When you get your bearings back, you find that you are in a place quite unlike any you have seen before. Looking around, you are startled to find a glowing eye-being, half-ethereal, staring at you with curiosity. What color is this eye-being?

🟦 A bold and ambitious blue.
🟨 A serene and gentle yellow.
🟩 A mischievous and fickle green.
🟥 An astute and thoughtful red.

Before you bobs a green thing, its eye awash with a mirthful glow! It watches you curiously as you dry yourself off, but scoots away as you grow closer to it.
It leads you out of the only reasonable exit to the chamber you washed up in, and shortly thereafter it seems to give you some kind of… guidance?
It shows you how to eat, jump, and throw stones, as if you were some kind of dull-minded pup, and projects a large checkmark every time you succeed in one of these simple tasks. You are not sure, but you think it may be mocking you.
In any case, the green eye guides you through a series of pipes and tunnels until you are led out into vast open space, a humid jungle of old metal and twisting vines. Overhead, a noodlefly buzzes past, a flock of its young following along. There are several ways to go from here, and your glowing guide seems to be leaving the choice in your hands.

To the west there are lights and carved paths through the brush. Someone lives, or lived this way, and you will go to find out who.

To the east the jungle grows denser and more thick with vines, but you can see ruined structures poking out beneath, and beyond that, a bridge to another place, hidden by the dense fog.

There is a twisted network of metal poles and broken pipes that leads upwards, high into the cloudy sky. You will climb them.

This is all much too intimidating. You turn back and try to find a shelter in the areas you have already passed through.

(I’ll cut the wait time down to about 30 minutes, since I don’t know how many more people we’ll get with the extra time)

Ooo, a tie. I suppose your little green friend will have to help you decide between the two choices…

You are uncertain on your next move. The way to the west seems intriguing, as does the possibility of meeting other people, but something about the towering spire of metal and stone that runs up to the sky calls to you- probably your tree-climbing slugcat instincts!
After a while of thinking, the green eye reappears and points upwards, flickering a boxy symbol in your face, before looking at you expectantly. And so, you begin to climb.
The climb up is hard and strenuous, and many times you almost slip from the rain-slicked bricks down to the ever receding ground below. But when you reach the summit, you are greeted with a view well worth the climb.
From the top of this structure there winds off a great metal bridge, still intact despite its obvious age. The bridge arcs off into the distance towards a great boxy structure, larger than any other building you have ever seen before. The green eye you travel with seems to be indicating for you to head in that direction. Down below, you can see the vastness of the jungle, and the darkness of the lands in the shadow of the great structure.
You do not see anything that looks like home, however.

⬆️ Walk out on top of this ancient bridge, using the same path that those who made this place did, when they approached their great artificial god in ages past.

⬇️ There are vines and poles running along the bottom of the bridge. Climb between those, moving towards the great structure in a manner more natural to a slugcat.

Take in the sights a while longer.

This is all too much. Climb back down to where the ground is solid and there are no giant metal boxes.

Why scrounge around through the brush when the bridge is right there? You walk out onto the top of the metal surface, feeling a warm wind wash over you as you pace towards the towering structure in the distance.
Your journey is peaceful for a while, until suddenly the wind goes still, and a shadow passes across the bridge you walk along.
The shadow of a vulture. The fearsome airborne predator is no doubt seeking a meal up here. Your instincts take over to guide your next move: what do they tell you?

You need to run and hide as quickly as you can! Vultures are big and clumsy, you can escape from it in a pipe.

Stand still. It hasn’t spotted you yet, and it won’t if you keep calm.

You are not prey.

Your legs break into a scramble before your brain is even fully aware of the threat, and not a moment too late, as the huge aerial predator crashes down onto the bridge behind you! The whole structure rumbles under the impact, and the vulture cranes its disgustingly long neck to try and snatch you in its mandibles.
With a pale mask and hateful eyes, you have never before seen a creature that is more alike the specter of death than this one. It narrowly misses you with its bite, and you dive along the ground into a slide, finding a bolt-hole to tuck yourself into.
For a few frightful minutes, you can hear the monster scratching and shuffling, trying to find a way to get at you in your hiding spot, but finally the noise stops. You remain for a moment more, before cautiously poking your head out.
The vulture is gone, but in its place, the sky has darkened and the ground is beginning to rumble. Faced with little other choice, you follow your green guide to the nearest shelter, a smallish hideaway atop a tower much like the one you climbed to get up here.
You curl up and rest for the night, hoping to find more answers and less danger tomorrow.
