Space game recommendations infodump, revised :

• astroneer (chill sort of "survival", maybe sandbox-y space game? Quite enjoyable though have not played in a long time (years))
• nebulous fleet command (pretty fun in-depth tactical game, if not with a small playerbase, may require you to bash your skull against a wall for a bit )
• tin can (very tiny game, think 60 seconds but more fast-paced and first person, trying to keep a small ship afloat and stuff)
• terra invicta (kinda cluncky strategy game about resisting an alien invasion, hard sci-fi to the extreme, pretty neat but has plenty of issues lmao)
• kerbal space program (nuff said )
• starsector (kinda hard to describe? I guess fleet and colony management game with combat and factions and shit? Really good tho, no clue how I forgot to mention it first lmao)
• Delta V (also known as Rings of Saturn) (pretty chill game where you just have a ship and go ring mining, more than meets the eye, can be rather relaxing. Also, it's cheap. I really like it)
• hardspace shipbreaker (be a corporate wage slave working a Very Safe (TM) job cutting ships up! In the right circumstances, very relaxing)
• No man's sky (you've probably heard of it )
• ||children of a dead earth|| (not for the faint of heart) ||(do you like graphics? Readable UIs? Good UX? Yes? Fuck you. It is, uh, an interesting case study? May carter to a TINY audience?)||

Starbound: Terraria but space (there more too it then that tho)
Falling frontier: a Coming soon Space RTS where you can build/outfit your own ships
Cosmoteer (starship architect and commander) build and fight other ships using pre-made blocks.
Spore: while the game is themed around evolution, the final and largest stage is space stage allowing you to manage an entire empire of your species you made in previous stages
Space engineers: one of the best spaceship builder and survival game
Unnamed space idle: a space idle game...... that's really it.
