Music question: I can see this being a bit of a hot take but is it just me or do the 90's have some of the best "video game" soundtracks?

Not an orchestral epic, some deep space adventure, firefight in contested territory, or some "badass moment." It's simple, plot is barebones, and you're just having fun because it's a game above all else.

This is not to say other eras have "bad" soundtracks. I love FTL, Monster Hunter, Rain World itself, the mind boggling amount of Nintendo music, etc. But I find the 90's to have the most..."video game" sounding soundtracks typically

unrelated thought: when you make a slugcat oc, it's not necessary but I think it's important to think if they are translated into game character, what button they'd use to activate their ability/power, and you can only use grab, throw, directional and map buttons

Can't speak for 1, but lowest diff in 2 you are basically immortal if you have a decent build and you only play it to mess around, but in 3 diff only changes when do some spawns occur, some special modifiers and the enemy AI so you can die as quickly on lowest as on highest
