LobCorp can be too niche (and hard) for most for sure... ( I did't finish it too)

but if you haven't tried, I really recommend Library of Ruina. it's not that hard if you like deckbuilders. Or maybe even try Limbus Company which apparently has been designed for more casual players (and while its a mobile game with gacha element I swear you dont need to touch that part if you dont want to)

Project Moon games do have great stories and worldbuilding, it's really hard to not recommend

Question since I'm watching someone play Rain World blind on YouTube for the first time and I don't like this place: Anyone else find Chimney to just be hell?

It's tolerable so long as you don't overstay imo

Maybe it's Survivor or the central path, but I find the place to just be an overwhelming barrage of lizards and vultures in very dangerous spots

The calmest I had of thr place was being Gourmand and taking the right path to climb...at least that was platforming and not five lizards all at once right next to a pipe

the 'intended' route, based on the soundtrack and the general way iggy points when you're at the key crossroads, is Industrial-Garbage/Shaded-Shoreline-Shaded-Leg-Pebbles-Wall-then Chimney after you've gone through all that. It's just a lot of people wander off to the other, harder routes

On my first playthrough I did see a bit of a spoiler after I already entered DS that I "shouldn't" go through that way on first playthrough

Then I went 'How bad could that be?"

But outskirts funnels you to drainage very easily before iggy even starts guiding you

And if you don’t have breath meter on you can’t see that the go faster button actually drowns you

In personal experience, Drainage is an interesting maze until it becomes frustrating due to the shelter placement and it does not provide good terrain to defend yourself

They sprout within them, and those people now are pretty rebellious.

They’ll try to find a new leader and ditch the old one.
