So we know about alternate timelines and parallel universes yeah? Right now, I'm seeing timeliness and "dimensions" to be the same thing really. Universes meanwhile seem to be more tricky considering a multiverse has infinite possibilities and yet you get the nonsense of comic books having their own contained "multiverses." So...does that mean a multiverse is just a collection of infinite timelines/dimensions?

Also if I'm wrong about dimensions and timelines being the same thing, what's the difference? And no, I don't mean the difference between 3D and 4D (time)

That being said, stop one event from happening (plot point, the zombie apocalypse) and you create a new timeline. Cause another event to occur (dump modern day tech into a breach which ends up in the American Revolution Delaware River crossing) and a new timeline happens

Also...things in one timeline/universe may not exactly be even possible in another. Like, you literally can't explain it because the concept does not exist there.

Say for example milk does not exist in a different timeline and you visit it. You "know" what milk is but you're in a place where the fundamental concept of milk is impossible. Therefore, you can't explain what "milk" is

so she panics and gets overtaken by the brush or sth like that, its depressing, as she spirals in panic

and she just says that she does not want to be the weilder anymore and that she just took pizza finding the brush as some sort of way out

okay, so chicory is in no state to talk, throws you out of her room and doenst go outside again. pizza still tries to help anyway with the root problem but form that point on they change her design a little bit that instead of smiling she just looks sad all the time

anyway, she does her job, gets rid of more trees that create those roots

but turns out, destroying the trees doesnt make the roots vanish

BUT

in one ot the trees she actaully fights a copy of herself

not chicory

and shes like, shit, so its not just chicory

and she goes back to chicory since she still believes that all of this is her fault

but chicory is spiralling, she is in a bad place and the brush, or more the colors i guess, its more of a visial thign, is activly fighiting her so pizza help her

so now pizza explains that it isnt related to her, but to ALL the weilders

and chicory desides that she wants to help fight the roots by formally making pizza a weilder, which requirest 5 weilder trials of which one pizza already did

okay, backsotry time before the trials

so blackberry was the weilder before chicory and chicory was a prodegy in everythign when it came to art

so blackberry decided to make her her new student for the new weilder

those two used to be friends back then too

so they do all the trials and chicory is doing fine until the last one

the last one for her was where the current wielder will officially tell you their thoughts about you and hand you the brush over etc etc

but it was then that blackberry told chicory that she had a few doubts about her

and chicory felt betrayed since she worked so hard

and blackberry still wants to be her friend but chicory is so hurt by that taht she just takes the brush and storms off

and now chicory is the weilder

and people love her, shes talented as fuck and the world never looked so pretty

but beign the wielder comes with duties, coloring in the world, recolering it after tiem since the colors fade after a bit, and generally just solving everyones problems

and chicory just actually gets soem sort of burn out

she begins to sit hours on end at one spot, trying to color it just right but never happy

and the stress is eating at her

she loses her love for drawing etc etc

then pizza comes into her live and shes like, sure, take the brush, i cant do this anymore anyway

and pizze the ever optimistic one shows chicory the fun side of drawing again

at one point before the chicory copy boss you get tasked to make a portrait of chicory

and in turn she does one of you

very cute

and for it you give her the brush back since pizza really wants to see her use her colors again

and shes nervous about doing it but goes throuhg with it

the portrait is a masterpiece of course but chicory cant help but critizise herself for it

anyway, drama insues, the chicory copy fight comes and pizza learns all the darkes thoughts of chicory, which mind you, arent all her thouhgs but actuall stuff she thinks, even if shes ashamed of it

I relate to Chicory

when pizza learns that the roots dont come from chicory alone but from the brush, and with it all the wielders, she goes back and quite literally rips her out of her dark thouhgsts

in that scene you can also see that chicory hung up the portrait you made of her

anyway, back to the actual plot

so chicory wants for you to stay the wielder, this time for real and not just to get rid of the brush, tho after pizza asks her if she really doenst want the brush back she says that she just cant anymore

but yeah, pizza is not officially a wielder just yet since she never went throuhg the five trials and therefor he bond with the brush is not storng enough

so you go through all the trials, learn more about chicory and her past as the two of you become closer frineds (i want them to be more, ignore that)

okay, back to the plot

the only trial of note is the one chicory did last where she had her fallout with blackberry

(I mean, she hung the portrait, seems a little romantic to me)

in it, pizza fights a blackberry copy which shows them that it didnt even start with chicory, just confirming more that it comes from the brush

the fight ends wiht blackberry copy saying that she just wanted to be chicorys friend and was so strict since she saw what chicory would be able to achieve like that (which she did)

and pizza tells chicory that and while she does want to fix that bond with her mentor, for now shes not ready

anyway, trial shenanigans bla bla bla, now pizza is strong enouhg to fight the roots

only she isnt and she loses like right away and loses the brush as well

so she wakes up at home and has a depressed walk back to the temple as all the npcs talk to you

there she meets chicory who is happy that pizza is okay

and they talk

pizza feels like a failour (sth she thinks about herslef through almost the entire game i might add, the copy said just that)

but chicory cheers her up and with the pover of determination or sth (its love ) pizza is able to make a brush tree gro and now she has a new brush

only she gets captured by the now sentient brush imidatly again
