had a good run going earlier but the crowd of enemies at the teleporter was so huge that they were healing each other and the boss faster than i could kill them lmao
DLC is fine, the patch fixed all the major issues and it's honestly enjoyable
I can't confirm or deny that the scaling feels weird, sometimes you just get a bad run and bad items
Personally i think rn the DLC is in a decent spot, but could still be improved upon in a bunch if ways
So i'll eagerly wait for the upcoming updates
There is still some jank to be fixed and some balance reworks that'd be nice

there are little waves of elite enemies once i had a really good rex run with a lot of attack speed and aoe but on stage 3 sulphur pools a billion elite blind pests just kept spawning and i couldn't keep up
you could say it's a skill issue (true) but the game wasn't even remotely like this on the devotion patch, the scaling is for sure a bit off
Knockback fin is kinda silly though

for me there was a mending beetle x imp army on stage 3 that immunised the horde of enemies + the two bosses
it was ACTUALLY impossible to progress
like on a technical level
the elite enemy waves is insane

the only real big benefit of it is that it can benefit from ignition tank
and it's good for procs like bleed
but it has a low proc coefficient

ion surge is an ability that shoots you pretty high up in the air, doing big damage to enemies around you
since arti can hover, you can just fly indefinitely
and skip pillars! and it procs bands and can get you out of situations
generally a better ability with more use

3/4 of your skills give you a mobility option assuming youre running cryo and mines

how could it be lower than mult's nailgun of all things

M-ULT has a very high fire-rate with the nailgun and to mention it has a shotgun-ish attack when the attack button is released
CHEF deserves better since the day i played him from the very first game 
also mult has powermode which doubles his nailguns
the whole gimmick of chef is that he can proc stuff twice, but since it has a 0.5 proc coefficient it's just, comically bad
I am a big fan of power mode and dual nailguns... It shows proof that SotS really really needs a patch that changes all the items/survivors and not to mention the twisted elites and tweak the numbers or change them completly

That sounds like one of the elites that shows up after you loop, the massive green bubble around it will make all of its allies in that bubble invisible.

My best bet is to use Repulsion Armor Plate as the FLAT Damage Reduction (5) and continuously grabbing said item would lower the amount damage being reflected towards u
With enough of those can you become immortal 
The problem with transcendence alone is that you would have to pray to not get hit really hard by an enemy. Mostly from the grandparents or so on. The shield takes around 7 (business days) seconds to regenerate (assuming you are not hit). By that time, u'd better off getting the medkit which only takes 3 seconds to activate after getting hit
For future cases, if u have a hard time dealing with the Twisted Elite, kill the elite first.
The reality is, don't get transcendence unless ur capable of not having to worry about losing ur One Shot Protection.

if e8's playstyle is to avoid damage at all costs then yeah transcendence helps with that since if you do get hit you don't get curse iirc
and the 7 seconds thing, if you get hit by mithrix or something you can very much easily fuck off for a while and heal completely
literally a life saver if you don't get any healing items
having good healing surely lets you take hits, heal it off and continue attacking but if you get hit you'll most of the time fuck off for a while too
saying to not use transcendence on eclipse ever is kinda of a silly take, it has it's upsides and downsides
it's not an item you should avoid always like pre patch warped echo or something

There is no problem with the item overall. It has a good idea for it's practicality. But for it's execution values in certain critieria, it doesn't work.

this is a girl who has e8 on most of the cast transcendence is extremely powerful on eclipse
also trans doesnt take away your osp that isnt true 7 (+2) seconds is going to be around the same time to full heal (if not faster) with good healing items (slug/wungus)
osp isnt even good with how most deaths are because of multiple damage sources

Aint nobody ever said it was "faster regen" if not "faster" than good healing items.
it's called One Shot Protection.
most damage sources aren't one shot for sure. But the point is, u would lose the osp. Mostly OSP helps from Void Collapse

OSP is (depending on the run) the most important mechanic to keep. The point of "osp isnt even good" is invalid by many reason.
There are countless of enemies in the game that could constantly one shot u. Especially Void Collapse from the Voidtouched enemies.
The reason why u wouldn't want transcendence is that reason in particular. As well as the long recharge of 7(+2) seconds.
You would heal almost instantly using medkits, leeches, Wungus, and also Repulsion.
You gotta keep in mind, that u have to avoid enemies in order to recharge ur shield.

There are countless runs where u die from Void Collapse.
to get afflicted with void collapse you need to get hit by the voidtouched enemy which takes off your oneshot protection , most deaths from collapse it's cause you got hit, you got like 2 stacks of collapse and since you're already medium to low hp already you die
if you have a voidtouched clay templar shooting you and giving you a billion collapse stacks, the 1 bullet that hit you will take off your oneshot protection and the billions of collapse stacks will kill you
although i get it if you're talking form the looping perspective
you're more susceptible to getting the collapse debuff, and you heal super fast so you can just get your one shot protection back and survive the collapse
but i just don't loop much at all so that's not a situation that happens to me
if youre looping the issue is that you alpha strike everything
by stage 11 youre either killing everything instantly or the run is dead typically
transcendence also facilitates that by allowing you get more damage by being able to scrap all of your healing
also safer spaces + opals exist

The point is, U dont wanna waste exactly 7 seconds for the recharge.
Even with retreated, hiding in a place or anything like that, there are enemies that are constantly catching up to u. So by then, it's best u just avoid the item overall.
if ur good with trans, good for u

But not an item I would recommend to players
avoiding damage is also a superior strategy than tanking it since you dont run the risk of not being able to heal fast enough or taking too much damage at once

I like the idea that the aurelionite is based around the money system of Risk of Rain.
However, the way they execute it is pretty much horrendous
probably generalized by now, War Bonds is not a good red item. Only allowing u to get atleast 1-2 chests.
It does give +25 coins the more stacks you have, but that the cost of items increase so much that it's entirely worthless.
if anything, the best items by far that I believe is good enough in my books is taking Longstanding Solitude, Brittle Crown and also 57 Leaf Clover.

solitude is bad because it limits the total number of purchases in the entire run to 96 or something around those numbers
not to get into the philosophy on taking damage but base damage and % damage increases are effectively the same thing (assuming the base damage scales in level)

base damage and % damage increases do the same thing calculation wise if it scales off level
its a fixed damage if I assume
24 base damage, 1 watch, 1 focus crystal, 1 ap round (24 x 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2 = 41.472) is the same in practice as 20 base damage, 1 watch, 1 focus crystal, 1 ap round, 1 hypothetical % damage item (20 x 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2 = 41.472)

with ~10% spawn rate for each stage iirc
sacrifice does bring that up to 30% though

I have used them and they are pretty good
But because any chance item relies on proc, 57 is the biggest game changer
it also increases Crit Hit Chance as well
the issue with clover is it is entirely reliant on other items to work
excluding your base crit and arti burn chance
because it affects luck, it also affects ur chances of getting better items.
