Afaik essentially all the lunar items have their uses, but some are very build oriented so taking them can be risky unless you have the required items to make said builds work

Usually though people avoid them

The best example i could give us Hellfire Tincture, generally kind of bad as an item by itself, but if you have planula, a bunch razorwire and plenty of fuel cells and a gesture, you can destroy everything around you rather quickly

Lunar items are purely for specific builds 90% of the time
