Basically the rot was never spawned, so moon never died.

Pebbles got rejected by the whole Iterator group and was overwhelmed by frustration to the point he decided to erase a few memories of his experiments. It didn’t help so he just erased a huge chunk of his memory, becoming more laidback in the process. Moon is clearly worried here

Pebbles could still feel his sensors twitching as his eyelids slowly opened again. They felt.. rather heavy, like usual. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Pebbles rose his head, weakly holding it. Weird.. why was he feeling like this? It concerned him for sure.. he would have to check his..

…what in the-

…where was his memories? This.. worried Five Pebbles, for sure. Why didn’t he have any memories? What was today?
He checked the date, and was shocked to find it farther in time than he had expected. Last he remembered was Cycle 11.728. Now it was at.. 12.893? How long was he out for?

Pebbles sat up, looking at his handrail. It slowly lifted his puppet up, proving to still be functional. There didn’t seem to be any system errors besides his lost memories, so that was at least a good thing.

That’s when a small, rough “wa” was heard. Pebbles looked down to the floor of his chamber to see a dark red Slugcat adorned with scars. Huh, weird. Pebbles really didn’t know much about these creatures. How had this one gotten in? Somehow, he felt amazed that she could get into the structure.

Pebbles floated down to meet the Slugcat, who looked upon him in confusion. “..hello, strange creature,” he spoke, prompting the scug to tilt her head. Pebbles could read concern on the creatures expression, and simply blinked. “How did you enter my structure, May I ask? If you can answer.”

The Slugcat neared him for a second, sniffing in concern. Nevertheless, she only took 3 seconds of thinking before quickly climbing up onto the shoulders of the puppet.
Pebbles blinked again in confusion. Why did the Slugcat climb onto his puppet? Was she perhaps a friend of him?

“Heh, you’re rather adorable, little beast,” Pebbles had to admit that, although the slug still showed worry.
That’s when the pink Iterator noticed a Pearl necklace around his neck. The Pearl seemed to have a newly written message. Huh. He wondered what it could be..

One little design choice I love to do is add tired lines under pebbles lines before the lobotomy when I can. Or just narrow his eyes more to make him have his usual personality. Shows how much the work he does affects him.

Those lines disappear permanently and his eyes widen more after the lobotomy, because he no longer has reason (he thinks) to be stressed.

I’m trying to get motivation to continue the comic

At this comic point, it’s been revealed that Pebbles performed the Lobotomy to Moon and Suns, and every other Iterator in the groupchat overhearing.

The comic goes in the view of the good ending, where Moon accepts everything after a while of thinking.
The bad ending, illustrated by the Multi-Animator Project I’m working on, will show Moon trying to work hard to convince Pebbles to restore his memories, to the point she tries to forcefully make him do it by sending pearls with Ruffles.
This continues up until Saint fucking kills her.
