You forge the cores and get an overclock and once you gave at least 1 upgrade in all weapon tiers you can apply an overclock

Yeah, i love the hollow point upgrades since i usually aim for the weak point, and with glyphid grunts having a really easy to hit weak point, hollow point basically one shots them all. It's only good if you can aim well and/or get behind the enemy

I take disperser compound for swarmageddon and exploder infestation, and missions where there can be a lot of enemies that need to be slowed, but VIM is amazing for destroying the health of anything that moved
