Twigs and Mouse are somewhat traumatized by the elevator.

Mouse has already reached the lower gravity, letting go of the ladder and just slowly floating down.

The Assistant notices this and begins floating as well, Charybdis just sort of slides on the ladder

Twigs seems confused, but she continues sliding down, eventually just hopping off the ladder to float down.

This can is in surprisingly good shape. Most I've seen have collapsed by now, their Iterators turned into husks.

Twigs looks at Chary. “If I’m correct, she sometimes works on extra rarefraction cells in her time. She’s somewhat prepared.”

Meanwhile in her chamber, Pages turns around, annoyed by her overseer already. “…what do you want?”

You have several visitors. Two of them are ancients, some that we are both close to.

Huh. Now that's interesting- those are usually pretty rare.

Pages would raise an eyebrow if she had any. “Ancients? The ancients have been gone for a long time.” She looks directly at her overseer. “I suppose that’s why my overseers are begging for my attention.”

Twigs nods. “She has some help! Sometimes, a little slugpup visits. They usually bring materials because they have nowhere else to take them. I’ve talked to this little pup before as an echo, they’re an innovative little beast!”

Mouse reaches the shaft entrance. “Finalllyyyy…!”

Charybdis grabs the Assistant and reaches the enterance behind Mouse

It's been a long time since I've been rummaging throughout a can like this.

Pages looks at the figure. “Considering what your kind has done, I would say I hoped you were gone, were I disrespectful.” The overseer is really trying to get Pages attention.

Twigs reaches it as well. “Yeah, it’s really weird!”

Gives me nostalgia. You know- I- I worked on a few Iterators like this one! This definitely seems to be a different model, but still.

Pages looks at the figure. “I’m confused on how you’re alive again- can you STOP?” She looks at her overseer, who immediately shows her pictures of the group, notably Twigs. Pages goes dead silent.

Twigs smiled. “Really? That’s cool!”

It was crazy. Just a heads up though- we're the only real ancients left. And those iteratiors and other creatures that are left aren't exactly fans.

The adults broke a lot of things and developed a bad reputation for it.

Inside, the APC has two sections. The cockpit, which features two seats and a lot of screens; and the rest of the apc, which is just some seats. It looks like some camping equipment has been left in the back. Suns and the Assistant are in the front.

So apparently, this thing is solar powered, so we can drive AND float over anything we want!

Okay, so I was put in a simular situation to yours, and I made a really big mistake, and that was killing the prophet... So ive been condemned to sit here and watch the world die over and over again... its been 672,018,912 times since I've watched people commit the same mistake I had. You just so happened to be the only one to break that cycle. Now usually I'd only talk to those who made the same mistake as me, but... ya know, you become a trail blazer.
