#my mods don't work

i can see my mods in the menu. but they don't work in game. and i don't get any errors

Do you have a Linux computer?

That can cause mods to break.

i have a windows pc. i did file integrity check and 1 file is not validated.

From experience, everytime you verify file integrity, the mods stop working D:

The solution that I’ve found is that once you enable the@mods, close the game and then reopen it

I've been having the same issue. Would be nice to find a solution

Here's some solutions that didn't work for me, but I've heard to have worked for some people:

  • Re-installing you game with steam cloud turned off (remember to back up your save files first!)
  • Using the windows system file checker
  • Deleting all the game files, including the installation folder, and then verifying your files.

Then again it would be kind of nice if we didn't have to go through trickery like this just to play some mods.
