#game softlocks on arena/safari screen

ive seen a few other people have this problem, but i dont think it's been solved yet
after i tried out a region mod (old new horizons) and tried to go into the safari menu, it didnt show any of the region options. when i went out of the screen and went back in the screen was completely black, and the only way for me to get out of it was to close the game entirely
is there any way to fix this or are the arena options purely inaccessible for me now?

Hello, I'm not a dev or anything similar, but I've been experiencing the same issue. I don't think it's a mod causing this, because I've disabled all mods, cleared my saves and freshly installed the game.
This allows me to press "Arena," but if I use the left navigational button or reach the Safari screen and try to navigate away, the game softlocks to a black screen. This leaves everything but Safari accessible, but after enabling my mods once more, the "Arena" button will softlock to a black screen, with no chance to navigate between the gamemodes.

I'll be making another post on this issue with screenshots, my logs, and mods enabled to see if this issue can be isolated, identified and possibly fixed.

hey, this problem is ridiculously old and has since been fixed. contrary to what you believe, it is caused by a mod. the only way i was able to fix it was to reinstall old new horizons, go back to the safari screen, switch it so that it shows only the vanilla regions, and then it was fixed

Hey I have rainworld on my ps4 and it keeps crashing whenever I go into kamra gates and just crashed while I was going into the void sea as hunter is there anyway to fix this
