Yes.

The way scavs work is that they don't spawn in normal dens like creatures, but rather in an Offscreen den. When a scav gets into the offscreen den, it chooses a scavenger den to warp to, and that way they can get from every scavenger den to another.

The only 2 scavenger den places are near the SB gate and in LttM for Shoreline.

its a tradeoff right

you get the backspear and higher speed, but higher damage means if you dont pin a weaker enemy (like a blue lizard) you rarely get a second chance to pin it, some of the spawns are also more difficult or just not the same

you also dont have as many cycles to do set up if you wanted to do so

the route i was doing as survivor wouldnt have worked as hunter bc theres no easy mole spawn in shaded

also i learned some interesting tech

if the grapple is in ur first hand, you get regular but super heavy jumps which SUCK. however i am able to hand swap one time (i have no idea why i cant swap again after) which puts the snail in my first hand. this gives me boosted rolls and pounces, similar to when you hold an eggbug.i also think it makes you more susceptible for the snail to fucking explode on hard ground contact, but with proper precautions, good movement is possible :3
