My case for more setup specificity:
The current rule is no mod usage during setup. I want to make sure this rule actually makes sense when you apply it. To test that, I will ask a question, "Can you seperate the challenge doing and the setup doing?" Say you complete the challange Martyr, and it looks like a normal run to the verifiers. But, as it turns out, you used warp menu to go to sleep in the right shelter, and you completed this whole challenge on cycle 2, which is impossible. Or, you used a premade save file that achieve the excact same thing in the same time. Otherwise, the entire challenge is the exact same as if it were legitimate, with some of the methods to get there illegal and some not. To answer my question, you would necessarily need to seperate the challenge doing and the setup doing. This means that theoretically, any theoretically possible setup state is valid. This is a problem, because you could set up a save file so that every lizard is friendly to you, including reds, and all the vultures have been made to stay in their den or lineaged (I'm not sure if that is how vultures work), etc, and so therefore you need to specify there be MINIMAL SETUP. Also it becomes worse when you consider challenges that require a set amount of karma. If you need a specific karma for the gates, and the challenge necessitates dying a lot, then you would need to regain that karma every time you die, which is extremely tedious, and probably cannot exist, and so therefore there needs to be CONSTANT SETUP, which is achieved legally via save files. This is all a huge mess and so i will list the things we know and the contentions:

• Setup is necessarily seperated from the challenge because save files are legal.
• Because of the above rule, any theoretically possible setup is legal, with the current non-specific rule.
• The above rule is ridiculous and unacceptable, and so therefore the rule needs to specify very minimal setup.
• Karma required challenges are extremely tedious without constant setup, and so therefore the rule needs to specify allowing some setup.
• P.S. there probably shouldn't be priority for one type of setup as opposed to others in it's current form, and without good reason.

You legalized save files, so therefore you need to specify the amount of setup allowed and when and what type. Either way, you need to specify.
