you just need to get scavs into the gate with you

they don't even have to cross the gate

just into the room

it does not work with GW i tried. very hard. they can't swim and they certainly don't know how to avoid blue leeches

pretty much the only gate you can do it with is the SB-SL gate, and once you have high enough rep in sub they will try to follow you into the gate

and once shoreline loads in they'll automatically spawn in LTTM. though sometimes it takes a few tries

nothing fancy, no tech required, just being nice to scavs and hoping they follow you around

alternatively you can do the bat spear glitch
