when i hit an scav with an spear with practically any spear the game just freezes before the hit is registered, i checked if it was the fault of some mods but nothing, help i want to murde rscavs again

The game should generate an exceptionLog when the game freezes.

Close the game and upload the exceptionLog.txt file that you can find on your root installation folder (next to the .exe, default Steam path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rain World).
To send the file, drag and drop it into the Discord window. Do not copy and paste the contents of the file.

I saw a very similar log on a different post. Let me give you some context here.

There is only one error that happened at the start of the game.

Some sprites from the VocalMod could not be loaded.

(I wonder if that messed with loading other sprites as well. Maybe some 'scav is dead or hit' sprites.)

I would expect the DoViolence() function (or whatever its called) to throw an NullRef exception. That stuff is called when you hit them with spears and stuff (I guess also when you maul them -- not sure).

I assume that it is a mod error for now. Maybe you can disable mods (VocalMod for starters) and see if the problem goes away.

That's a lot of mods. I might try some of them and see if I run into the issue. If you find the mod that is at fault let us know.

Remove all of them and turn on one at the time, the one who makes the scav freeze is the mod you stop using
