Help! I hust started my Gourmand run and I started out with no cutscene or tips and I am stuck in a gate inside the ceiling. I am able to crawl through the ceiling to either access shaft, but I am unable to enter them. I am trapped in this room, and even if I try to use a mod (which I really don't want to be doing yet before I even finish all my campaigns), I may still miss the tutorials and cutscenes.
I have restarted over and over, even reinstalled the game. What do I do??
Alright, the left access shaft worked this time, seems like I am at the end of the memory crypts...

I am heading to the Underhang now. I only found out how to craft items.
You know what's weird? I haven't seen a SINGLE GODDAMN ENEMY in the exterior so far. Is it broken?? I have only seen a pole plant.
Also, the map seems mostly vanilla so far. Also, I am already at Five Pebbles and have not seen a single lizard or dll

ummmm you are not suppose to spawn there
You said you tried reinstalling the game. but have you done a full reinstall by removing the Rain World folder from Steam (renaming the folder also works as Steam only looks for "Rain World" folder). After you do that you can verify the files and let Steam reinstall the game. The folder will typically be located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rain World

You can back up your save files. They are located C:\Users[[YOUR_USER]]\AppData\LocalLow\Videocult\Rain World. Change [[YOUR_USER]] to your username on your PC.
But if you want to wait until after you are finished I understand.

Okay, is there a way to make a backup but without anything saved for the gourmand?
I am now playing gourmand as normal despite having an unusual ending. I'm on my way to five peb's chamber and I did receive a cutscene about the crafting. I will have to look up gourmands other abilities since the game didn't tell me.
I might be fine aside from that. Maybe I should just continue normally? I'm just worried about the strange lack of enemies. I only found one dll and one pole plant from the memory crypts and through five pebs.

Just restart the campaign on the Gourmand character selection screen then leave before making it to a shelter

Well, I opened the game on a different computer and my bugged save was not cloud saved but when I started it on this computer it started with a cutscenes in what looks like the memory crypts! I think it's all good now! :)))
