Yea, I had this issue while doing initial testing. Would you mind also sending an OutputLog from the same directory?
sorry for not replying earlier, yes let me send it, it may be different since i have installed the eyebrow raise mod, though it doesnt affect this mod in question in any way as far as i know

There's nothing useful I can glean from this log.

i think i fixed the issue in an update to rico spear, could you see if it still breaks?

i will try uninstalling and reinstalling rain world itself if the issue still persists, i have tried.. everything 
..it works now.. thank goodness.. i had too much stress from this..

ok now this is very fucking odd, i had the moment to test the cliff teleport thing it still happens, do i need to remove the rico spear mod or do i have a faulty copy of this mod

You need to disable RicoSpear, maaaybe even uninstall it and test.

Quick unrelated vent: I’ve been working on a patch to try and get PitRespawn working a lil’ smoother, and now it just deletes items in certain locations. x .x;;
I need to work on debugging that behavior, but if something pops up and it’s because of PR, it might be a bit before I can fix it.
i would rather lose my items than lose myself when falling and getting teleported back

turn up the games speed to like 3x in remix settings and turn on devtools so you can just sleep and sleep and sleep
is the game speed optional or is it to attempt and speed up the potential memory leak

This would be my call to action to say that, if you really do miss those lost Slugcats, you can recreate what you loved with Slugbase and the v1.9 APIs.
Get to experience the modding hell we do. 
(And Slugbase looks leagues easier to use, since it has JSON files as a base to work off of)

There's SlugBase's documentation, mess around with all the features that you can modify with SlugBase alone.
Once you've got a good handle on that and made your first batch of lil' test creatures, look into the Rain World Wiki's modding section and follow the tutorial for setting up a BepInEx mod.

still not spawning from pits on occasion and even in a normal pipe transition (more often than I ever fall - this makes it unusable)
couldn't catch the pipe softlock in this test, but pit softlock and losing held items (screenshot of empty hands - I could throw "nothing")

in this case I just dropped in the pit from the right pipe and nothing further happened
but I could pull myself back out with dev tools (still alive) and after that every drop worked
other than that the pipe transitions sometimes not spawning me (with gourmand in that case) was very random
I wasn't even aware of the pits not working because I disabled it due to not getting through pipes
caught another one that ended up in this funky loop

If you press M and mouse over where you keep warping to, it should be -20, -20 or -1T, -1T

I forgot the exact name of the room, but there was an issue for Spearmaster in || WF || near the || IW Karma Gate || where it would just voop your items somewhere after a screen transition.
It was caused by my method running when the two rooms were the same.
Ooo just got a nasty NRE while testing stuff.
Ok the respawning at an invalid pipe thing is now fixed. The NRE is next.
Ok doing more debugging
Whenever a player respawns, it looks like the items are still in their hands, but they aren’t and are immediately lost upon going through a pipe.

I can’t figure out the item dropping issue.
It seems to set the items to a layer that prevents it from colliding with everything else, but forcing the game to release it then give it back to slugcat doesn’t seem to help?
I suppose you have to constantly mess with that to be able to reset the player with the items?
I didn’t even bother with items in the first place, since the game didn’t mind it.
But now with items disappearing in hands while using pipes, I need to remedy it, and it’s difficult finding the point of faliure
I’ve done the entire hokey-pokey trying to get this to work.
The only way to ensure a 100% rate of not losing items, thanks to the mod, is by having the player release them and dropping them at the pipe they came out of.
Do you think that would be an acceptable trade-off, @open saffron?

say - I don't remember the room transitions being a problem in earlier versions - what was different?
maybe that items didn't respawn with you?
The fact that creatures are spat out of pipes instead of being forcibly moved. 
The mod not working perfectly plus the internet being down for a week has kinda just killed my motivation.

I would love a revert on that feature just to get the original function without the issues
