#So the next question is Content how can

Assuming we have a good way of organising it (that's a later question), how can we make sure what we're adding adheres to a good standard?
we should probably have a couple different groups
making a blank template that can be written in for creature, object, and region pages might be a good idea,
could have 2-3 people checking eachother's work
that's a great idea me; :D
oh yeah!
two main things:
- we need to get a DLC template up beforehand
- ask the isaac wiki how theyve implemented their dlc toggle if possible
we alr have most of that done w our revamps :D
game mechanics might be a concern
since the slugcats will play very differently from eachother
i mean for things we have the names of we should create a bunch of stub pages with basic information and templates. just have them very obviously labeled as "WIP"
we will want to get the slugcat page revamped so we can more easily add information on specific ones without immediately cluttering
we also probably need a template for items
since they're not handled the best as is, and there'll probably be new ones
You start with a basic visual description of the region, and any characteristics (visitable only by X char) Contents are laid out in this order and then you have an overview section covering the gameplay, special features, creature challenges etc
we should create a plan for any table pages that will need updating. decide whether to integrate the info or whether to create a separate table for new content (arena and music as examples)
oh, yeah uh
we should probably have something for listing overall plans
since it might be easy to lose track of what we've talked about
though these threads do the job pretty nicely
that would be a trello but uh
we need to work with kip to find a solution that works. i doubt kip will finish their trello before downpour releases and so i think we need a SECOND trello that exists purely for downpour preparation initiatives so that we aren't pressuring them to try to finish the trello in a month
So ideally a chunk of source we can copypaste in to get a barebones but well structured base page right?
trellos are good because theyve got a checklist function. thus we can see EXACTLY what has been done and what still remains
those might be weirder to make a template for, for sure
at least there's usually less to write about them
fair point
but they do really need a more consistent layout
since as is it seems like a lot of them dont even have pages
if kips working on downpour stuff id much rather they help with mapmaking than trying to organize a massive list of minor page tweaks that are needed (at least in the short term)
they also seem to be pretty good at it, so that helps
(we'll be centrally organising work that needs doing)
yers :>
Do you have much free time to potentially go for something like that?
potentially
in the next two weeks probs not but after that im p much done w a large project so probably
sounds good :D I'll put it on the Sat 31st checklist
