winhttp.dll and doorstop_config are both in Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Rain World
the only new file is a text document called preloader_20221003_173012_644

so the game is intercepted by the preloader but doesn't make it to the modloader... well it might be simpler to re-download bepinex and replace the folder
sometimes antiviruses get rid of modding-related files in there, because you know, intercepting another program (the game) and doing moddifications to it does look suspicious

this is just a guess but checking whether everything is truly really in check with the modloader files is quite a hassle so its easier to re-download it

if you use BOI, and you're re-installing juuuust Bepinex (the folder that says BepInEx in it) then you don't need to worry, your mods are in the Mods folder

if something has "suddenly" broken without any clue then yea, backing up files and deleting all your folders, base rw included, and reinstalling, should cover alot of potential issues

well the best I can recommend is just saving your saves and mods and just deleting everything- as always you can only go so wrong with a 100% fresh install of rw and mod manager

I'd noticed a few of these files were also in the root Rain World folder, and was worried they wouldn't be here. But that's not the issue
err.log says that it has a sharing violation when trying to access the file Rain World\BepInEx\config\BepInEx.cfg. Not sure it's worth much, but could you upload that file here? I can check to see if the contents are normal

it's mostly the same, but there are a couple differences. Try replacing it with this one and see if it works
