this one underground area looks literally like a different place alltogether

its the light from the glowing rocks and liquid shit that normally emits light, but without raytracing it doesnt calculate the light bouncing off of the bricks and other surfaces, not to mention the sky lights

i am becoming increasingly obsessed with the lack of shadows from the flashlight when using camera mode

if anything, they should up the graphics settings when photo mode because responsiveness isnt really a nessessary thing. you could half the framerate when using photo mode and it would be fine. in fact, give everyone the option to enable some sort of "cinematic" mode when using photo mode, sorta like how the gran turismo series turns on a buncha fancy graphical effects ONLY when viewing a replay.

and when they had to adapt the type of film for a different kind of display, like say adapting a film for tv, they would be forced to use letter box to show the full size of the image

unless they wanted to crop it

or make a tv that was the exact dimensions of that film

when you use letterbox in photo mode, i highly doubt its increasing the field of view, so i bet its just adding black bars to the image and nothing else

heres a gif i tried to make of the photomode glitch that lets you do infinite ground pound attacks. i tried taking a screenshot the moment photomode loaded without moving camera, this at least shows you how much the character position is changed just from opening photomode

nvidia bought them out, took their code and butchered it to work on an nvidia gpu, and tried to sell the SLI setup where you could use a spare graphics card for physics acceleration

which you still can do in your pc without having to set them up with sli

you can pop in your old nvidia gpu and tell nvidia control panel to only use it as a physics accelerator for the few games taht still have that physx support. last game i remember using it was fallout 4 though, but it was a cool addition none the less

but thats where nvidia physx came from. this original, fucking amazing idea we almost got
