I can handle volatile’s with the toughness and regeneration booster on easy and normal and I can do it on hard but it’s a lot harder to stay alive or at least for me

Idk if it's because my gear provides enough damage protection or what, but I take a toughness booster and straight up take zero damage.

I get hurt by falling, get hurt by a spitter and other unconventional means, but zero from being hit physically. So as long as I got a booster going, it's free farming lol

Becomes a real game of survival once that booster runs out tho lmao. I always redo it before it does, but sometimes I get complacent with it and let it run out, and realize I went from full to a quarter health in less than two seconds

If you farm the volatile’s you can get a crap load from them if you use the regeneration booster and the toughness booster at maximum level, they can’t kill you

You can go to the plague which vendor, and she sells the poppys spent 30 minutes farming her and you can make 300 toughness boosters and 300 regeneration boosters

If you're trying to level up,run night time encounters,complete main quests or side quests. And if it's the movement that's screwing you over,unfortunately that's just something you have to get used to but the best way I learned is playing on easy difficulty so I take less damage and practicing Parkour/getting used to the movement in old villedor. If you try playing in the central loop when you're not used to the movement it'll be frustrating

What level are you? The shops have good bows at level 6/7? Otherwise there are certain quests to complete. Assuming you’re siding with survivors since PK has the crossbow. The event running is a great way to earn a crossbow though.

They're probably in lower tier worlds and your weapon scales to that (if you're using a scale weapon)
Or their worlds are harder than yours

Yes, there is an "AI_Damage_Taken_Multiplicator" when playing coop.
The scaling is (you deal xx% damage instead of 100%):
2 players = 65%
3 players = 55%
4 players = 50%
