Farm hunts until you get to lvl 4, then drop the hunt and you will get 180 uncommon, 30 rare, and 15-20k in money to run around to shops/craftmasters during the day.

Rare's are the hardest to get imo because the uncommon are like 98% of what spawns in hunt levels 1-3, and then level 4 are almost exclusively volatiles which we all know only drop uniques. But like I said, I typically get about 20-30 rare a night of just doing the uno reverse card hunting the hunters during hunts.

Then @mossy heath I play on easy, have the legendary machete blueprint maxed while using a maxed flame shaft mod, and a maxed spark tip mod. This lets me one shot zombies and spread damage to other zombies so I kill aoe really easy.

I start the hunt right in front of the Bazaar, and basically stand in between the barriers in front of the door on the right side until all the zombies stop spawning. I then run and climb up the row of trucks that are in that direction, jump onto the little circle structure to the left of the box truck at the end. Do two laps on top of that and it allows like 5-7 to spawn, then I run back to the barriers and hack them all down to basically consolidate all the drops in one spot. I do this until I hit hunt level 4, then I stand next to the door under the UV to drop the hunt, and I immediately run back out and start the next hunt. You are able to get 3 hunts to level 4 by about 6-6:30 AM so I typically finish that last hour killing volatiles as they give you way more money in loot (that single hour of volatiles vs basic virals is like 5k in money difference).

Also do it in solo because playing with other people messes up the spawn rates, and only gives you about 1/3 of the zombies to kill. I am willing to show you if the instructions are unclear too.

You mean skipping the grind mechanic the developers put into the game because you want to skip the work and go the easy route?

Trust me, there are games WAY more of a grind than this because you can easily grind 180-200 in a single night cycle. Look at Warframe, GTA:O, RDO, Black Desert Online, Destiny 2, and even the much loved recent Zelda games. Grinding for trophies really isn't that bad in this game especially as it helps with the legend levels, and the only reason to level every mod/weapon blueprint is because you want to "100%" it. And if that is your reason to max them out will it really be that fulfilling completing it by having someone hold your hand and do all the work for you?

I've grinded Dying Light 1 for 2000+ hours, and this game is okay, but it's not Dying Light 1. And it's just a nuisance to slay sooooo many Virals. I'm a man of grinding, but not the nuisance of farming Virals with Volatiles and Spitters on my ass which will keep me from looting the trophies. There are ways to farm them more consistently, but that is boring. I can get 164 trophies each time when doing a THV with 2 screamers downstairs.

And don't get me starting on the ~6600 DROPs needed to get to 250 Legend.

I don't have a spare set, but I would recommend going to the Sunken City, and get the Sunken Airdrops and the 5 inhib containers there. The inhib containers respawn like every 30 minutes or so I think. I typically check them when I start playing, about half way through a session, and then before I hop off.

Are you giving zones to the PK or the survivors? The PK crossbow is tied for the highest damage for a ranged weapon in the game, so if you are going that route just wait until you get that tbh. If not I have one I can drop you as I am using a crossbow now.

I would think so. From what I heard if you did it ages ago it was trash, and they buffed it to be the same damage as the Hakon CB when that dropped. So you would probably need to go through it again and get a new one

Yeah, I took a very long break as I enjoy this game for co-op play, and the buddy that got the game with me on release was having PC/internet issues before he just set it down and didn't pick it back up. So recently got back into it and did a lot of digging around and researching on this stuff, and ended up just getting the Hakon pack as I was already doing the survivors and the full auto sounded like a hoot. So if I was to have gone that route I would have gotten the full ~950 damage since I would have completed it after the buff.

Yes 1 co-op is still up. Yesterday there were some server issues either on Techland's or Steam's side for probably like an hour. Was playing with a friend and I got disconnected. Then on steam both the DL1 and 2 pages were glitching out, Steam Cloud wouldn't sync for them, but all my other games were working fine.

So you were probably trying to play in that window because I was able to play again about an hour after the DC happened.
