The story and side quests apparently felt all over the place. Gameplay wise there's been updates that have fixed some of the issues that ppl previously had. Essentially you can consider it like it released prematurely

In DL1 channels you will get that a lot.
I actually like DL2 way more than 1 xD
Gameplay imo is much better. People hate it because it was a mess in release but now is pretty good. I have seen people in DL2 and DL:TB channels even saying is better than The Beast cause it has much more content.
