Well, at the moment you can just fist fight the zombies. As soon as you unlock legend levels (if you haven't already) just put your points into unarmed damage multiplier. It buffs your damage by 15X every time you get the upgrade.

Then you can just reset the story quest in the main menu. You will have to play through the rest of it again, but it's not a big deal.

If you already have guns, it doesn't matter. You keep all inventory and skills.

If you go into the main menu where your saves are, and you click on Advanced, you have the option to change difficulty, do a new game plus or reset story quest.

Just choose reset story quest to Pact with Rais. As long as you don't have a DLC tracked as your current quest.
